About me
I see personal development and psychotherapy as a space to meet our inner healing intelligence. Encountering this inner essence of my clients is very intimate for me, as well as a source of personal inspiration and one of the important reasons why I do this work. What I enjoy about therapy is when it becomes a meditation in dialogue.
In addition to my private practice, I am currently working as a psychologist at the Masaryk Memorial Cancer Institute in Brno, collaborating with the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies on the development of a therapy for people suffering from post-traumatic disorder using the drug MDMA, consulting in the field of clinical research and teaching the Experimental Psychopharmacology course at Charles University. I co-founded the Czech Psychedelic Society, of which I am still a member. I am also a member of the Czech Association for Psychotherapy.
I studied psychology at the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University and graduated in 2013, passing a state exam in clinical psychology. I am professionally qualified as a psychologist in health care. Currently, I am completing the 6th year of the accredited psychotherapy training of the Institute of Gestalt Studies supervised by Dr. Jan Roubal. I am continually furthering my education, now primarily through medical pre-attestation preparation and attending conferences. I regularly consult my work during professional supervision sessions.
Part of my career I have also worked in the management of healthcare and research institutions as a quality manager. My experience in process management of groups of people and complex systems in an international environment has enriched my receptivity and imagination. I focused on the flow process of information, material and people. Now I focus on the flow process of what my client and I experience during the dialogical and existential encounter with each other.
I am married and have two children. I enjoy the quiet of nature and the energy of music and dance. I try to guard the limits of my own strength so that I could be a helpful therapist as well as a happy person in the long term.
